Last night I was part of a community ecumenical prayer service for our nation as we enter into Election Day. This election cycle has been long, stressful and vile all at the same time. The service was a reminder that our unity is not in the Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Green parties, but in Jesus the Christ. It is my prayer that the healing of the nation will come soon and that tenure of the next President of the United States will be on that focuses on the people, justice, mercy and grace.
